VideoBite ("VideoBite," "we," "our," or "us") provides software and related services that help creators transform long-form videos into short-form clips (the "Services"). Protecting your privacy is core to what we do. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.

In order to provide the Services we may generate derivative data such as transcripts, clip timestamps, or technical metadata. These derivatives are tied to your account but are not shared publicly unless you choose to publish them.
We do not deliberately collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health, biometric, or government-ID data) and ask that you refrain from uploading such data.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use customer videos to train machine-learning models without your explicit permission.
We never allow service providers to use your information for their own marketing.
VideoBite is headquartered in the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the U.S. or other countries where we or our providers operate. We use Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards when required by law.

Residents of California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions may have additional rights under local privacy laws. VideoBite does not sell or "share" personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to meet legal or reporting requirements. Uploaded media files are deleted within a reasonable time after you remove them or close your account, subject to unavoidable backup cycles.
We employ industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. These include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, routine monitoring, and periodic security assessments. No system is completely secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable multi-factor authentication.
VideoBite is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us so we can delete the information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we will provide notice—such as by email or an in-app banner—at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date will always reflect the latest revision.
We collect only the data needed to run VideoBite, keep it secure, never sell it, and give you control to delete it whenever you like.
